Award winning photographer, Barbara Emmott, has been a resident of Traverse City for over 20 years and has experience in photo-journalism and television work. She interviewed such celebrities as the legendary B.B. King, Tina Turner, Melba Moore and the Pointer Sisiters, as well as directing and producing the documentary "Ladies Night Out." A graduate of the University of Michigan, she is currently employed as a therapist with Munson Behavioral Health Services. She is also the very proud mother of three grown sons and two beautiful granddaughters, who are her joy and inspire her artistic creativity..
